Hours & Term: 24 hours per week; Start date August 14th until March 31st, 2027 

Place of Work: Working remotely within Canada (stable, reliable internet connection required) 

Salary & Benefits: $25.00 per hour, plus dental and health benefits

Vacation: 2 weeks paid per year, plus 1 sick days per month 

Languages required: English and French required. Other languages (including Indigenous languages) are an asset.

The Enchanté Network is the largest network of 2SLGBTQI+ organizations in Canada. We connect, support, and advocate for over 200 independent 2SLGBTQI+ organizations across the country. Our members include 2 Spirit societies, pride centres, HIV/AIDS organizations, trans collectives, and countless other frontline organizations dedicated to supporting 2SLGBTQI+ communities.

The Enchanté Network is seeking a Programs Coordinator to oversee mentorship programming, member communications, and membership portal management. The successful candidate will ensure seamless delivery of our core membership services, with all activities and deliverables provided in both English and French.

We are looking for a Coordinator who is highly organized, bilingual, and experienced in membership engagement, program coordination, and community-based communications. Success in this role looks like: strong member participation in programs, timely and bilingual communications, dedicated support for new and renewing members, and clear membership data and reporting that informs our work moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mentorship Program Support

  • Draft and send participant communications in English and French (welcome emails, reminders, surveys)

  • Support participants’ onboarding via the dedicated mentorship platform and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Oversee logistics for virtual and in-person program activities.

  • Monitor participation and prompt inactive members to reengage.

  • Prepare quarterly bilingual mentorship program reports summarizing participation, feedback, and recommendations.

2. Capacity-Building Program Support

  • Draft and send all participant communications in English and French (program launches, reminders, surveys).

  • Support program communications through website updates, email campaigns, event registration and post-event follow up. 

  • Coordinate with external contractors to prepare and circulate program materials and resources to participants and members  

  • Oversee logistics for virtual and in-person program activities.

  • Prepare quarterly bilingual capacity-building program reports summarizing participation, feedback, and recommendations.

3. Membership Communications

  • Draft and schedule monthly bilingual member newsletters.

  • Develop and send targeted bilingual engagement campaigns (inactive vs. active members).

  • Maintain and update a membership communications calendar.

  • Track and improve analytics (open and click rates), providing quarterly bilingual insights and recommendations.

  • Ensure all communications related to program promotion and logistics are bilingual.


4. Membership Portal & Onboarding

  • Maintain accurate membership records (applications, renewals, lapses).

  • Onboard new members and provide bilingual support for portal access.

  • Upload resources and update portal content in English and French.

  • Provide quarterly bilingual membership status reports.


5. Membership Relationship Management

  • Lead proactive communication with members to strengthen engagement and renewals.

  • Respond promptly to member inquiries and provide bilingual support.

  • Track renewals, lapses, and follow-ups to ensure retention.

  • Identify and share trends, member needs, and areas for capacity building.


General Requirements

  • All deliverables must be completed in both English and French.

  • Ability to manage timelines and deliver complete materials with minimal oversight.

  • Provide bi-monthly progress check-ins to the Manager of Programs.

  • Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results on time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the non-profit sector in program development, implementation, evaluation, public engagement, or advocacy.

  • Proven experience in membership engagement, community outreach, and/or stakeholder relations.

  • Strong ability to manage and collaborate with teams in a remote environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.

  • High proficiency with cloud-based tools such as Google Suite, Asana, WordPress, and Slack.

  • Deep commitment to anti-racism, intersectionality, and 2SLGBTQI+ rights.
